WCSI Founded in 1994

Westmoreland Casemanagement and Supports, Incorporated (WCSI) was founded in 1994 by the Behavioral Health and Developmental Services Program of Westmoreland County.  The staff and Board of Directors aim to support and coordinate services for individuals and families that need behavioral health, intellectual disabilities, and early intervention services.

WCSI (pronounced WIXIE), as the agency is affectionately called, opened its door with offices in Greensburg and Latrobe. Within the first five years, WCSI opened additional offices in Monessen and New Kensington. The Latrobe and Monessen offices have since closed over the years; however, we continue to provide service to all of Westmoreland County through our Greensburg and New Kensington offices.

In 2000, WCSI partnered with Westmoreland-Fayette Workforce Investment Board and the Pennsylvania CareerLink to provide youth employment training.

WCSI Continues into the Future

WCSI now serves over 6,000 children, adolescents and adults of all ages in Westmoreland and surrounding counties. These services are provided by over 200 dedicated employees from our two service sites in Greensburg and New Kensington. WCSI continues to grow and be a leader in the human services field.
