Q. How long have you been at WCSI?

Seven Years

Q. What is your favorite part of your job?

Knowing that what I and WCSI do is helping individuals live their best life.

Q. What is your favorite thing or favorite memory about WCSI?

My favorite thing about WCSI is my coworkers. I have the privilege to work with a great group of people.

Q. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A Doctor

Q. What was your first job ever?

As a teenager, mowing lawns. As an adult, working at Hills then Kmart.

Q. What lead to you working in this field?

My teaching certification is in Elementary and Special Education and I had been working as a substitute teacher but was looking for a full-time position where I could still help people. Being a supports coordinator turned out to be a great way to do just that.

Q. What’s the best advice you can give to someone who is just starting out in your field?

Give yourself grace. There can be a lot to juggle sometimes. Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help.

Q. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Spend time with my children. Listen to music. Play trivia.

Q. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Play piano or learn to scuba dive

Q. What is your “happy place”?

Listening to music while drinking a good cup of coffee
