Summary
This is a Full-time non-exempt position
that is one of multiple responsibilities, including vehicle dispatch, to work
as support to the BH Department in a fast-paced work environment. Primary work
hours will be 8:30AM-4:30PM with a ½ hour unpaid lunch, (37.5 hrs/week) unless
otherwise agreed upon. Includes specific responsibilities for a full
range of duties for the BH programs. Position
requires strong organization and communication skills.
Compliance:
As with all WCSI positions, it is the expectation that
employees adhere to WCSI policies, BH Department procedures, and County, State,
and Federal regulations governing Behavioral Health management. Attends
specially designed training programs provided through WCSI, county, state, and
federal agencies.
This position requires the employee to perform their daily
job duties and responsibilities in a structured environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following, (other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management):

Clerical Support:
Performs primary clerical duties for the
BH Department. Provides back up to BH Receptionist by answering, screening, and
transferring calls and taking messages, along with the daily mail run. Overall
duties include filing, typing, data management, copying, mailing, etc.,
ensuring information is grammatically and typographically correct and
complete. Ability to prioritize work
assignments; multi-task and meet deadlines.
Ability to work as a team member with the BH Department staff to achieve
organizational goals. Strict adherence
to policies and practices of confidentiality in all work completed as it
applies to both clients and agency personnel.
Performance of all job duties in an effective manner that supports and
contributes to a positive work environment.
Capability to work with little supervision and exercise sound judgment
in making decisions. This position also includes Data Entry and tracking for
the BH department and clerical duties associated with the BH Department.
CFRC Duties:
Main clerical for the CFRC program. Greets meeting attendees and follows sign in
process for all visitors. Maintains a
welcoming office atmosphere. Provides initial assessment of caller's needs or
purpose. Schedule appointments and completes appropriate documentation.
Supports CFRC staff by making available
copies of resource and other materials and monitoring need for office supplies.
Assist with scheduling as necessary for
CFRC meetings. Monitors timely receipt
of incoming documents and screens incoming documents for specific information. Prepares and maintains tracking accurately
and within expected time frames.
Prepares mailings to families and providers. Contact clients who cancel/no show to reschedule. Reviews and maintains accuracy of database.
Professional/Technical
Expertise:
Adequate knowledge of standard office
procedures, practices and conduct to maintain professional office
equipment. Ability to type 40wpm and to
operate various office equipment. Adequate knowledge of English grammar,
spelling, punctuation, and proofreading techniques used in writing and editing
standard. Other duties as assigned by
supervisor.
Supervisor Responsibility
This position has no supervisory
responsibilities. This position will be directly supervised by the BH Program
Manager. Level of independence will be
based on assessment of the supervisor, as related to assignments. This position may also receive direction form
the BH Divisional Director or the CEO.
Qualifications
:
High school diploma or equivalent. Typing, data entry, basic computer and math skills and general office skills. Ability to work as a team member. One year of experience in a professional office setting preferred.

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical
ability and mobility to work in an office setting, to stand or sit for
prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach
and twist; to lift and carry light to moderate (15 pounds) amounts of weight,
to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine
coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations
using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally
communicate to exchange information.
Requires the ability to see, within the normal vision range, with or
